Henry Cavill says ‘Man of Steel 2’ Could Film for 10 Months?

There have been countless, endless rumors regarding DC’s Man of Steel sequel.  A majority of them are so ridiculous they automatically have likelihood of being shot down.  Let’s put it this way; at this point, unless DC/Warner Bros. has confirmed it, odds are it’s false.
Unless, however, it comes from the Man of Steel himself.

Following the upcoming Man of Steel 2 aka Batman vs. Superman being pushed from a July 2015 release to May 2016, it was reported that the established cast were called to Michigan to start work on the upcoming film.
Now, it seems that’s looking to be true, as Superman actor Henry Cavill was spotted in the Detroit area, and even took some pictures with fans at local bars, Michigan news site MLive reports. One of the fan photos can be seen below:

But that’s not all that happened.  According to MLive, apparently Cavill told the fan pictured above that the DC epic could be filming for “10 months”.
Wait a second……ten months?  What film needs almost a year to actually film?  (Especially with the amount of CGI in superhero blockbusters that is added after shooting)  Unless said fan had a false recount, or Cavill is just playing coy and joking around about the actual production plans, what could this mean?

It could be fueling the rumor that Man of Steel 2 and the long-anticipated Justice League film could be filming back-to-back over the next year.  It’s definitely not impossible, but still, nothing has been confirmed by DC or WB.  I’ll be posting another “movie talk” post soon with my take on what could be happening.

What do you think about this suspicious “10 months” to film Man of Steel 2?
