New ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Stills, Plus James Gunn Says Production is Complete!

We’re just under a month away from Marvel’s latest adventure Guardians of the Galaxy, which has stirred a lot of buzz for being a relatively unknown franchise getting a big budget feature.  Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper & Vin Diesel are set to star as the team of the same name, in an adventure that will explore the cosmic side of the Marvel Studios cinematic universe.

Empire has revealed a few “exclusive” new images to keep the hype going.  However, some of the shots are ones we have already seen, sprinkled in with new looks.  Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace), Korath the Pursuer (Djimon Hounsou) and the working team of Peter Quill, Drax and Gamora are showcased, and can be seen below in HQ:

The press tour for Guardians is set to begin soon, and we now learn from the director himself that production on the film is officially complete.  Here’s what Gunn tweeted out earlier today:

Are you excited to see Guardians of the Galaxy?  What are you looking forward to most about it?

Catch it in theaters on August 1st.
