Brand New Trailer & Character Posters for ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Have Arrived!

Anticipation is rising for the new live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles feature, set to hit theaters in August.  Produced by Michael Bay and directed by Jonathan Liebesman, early buzz has featured a little bit of everything; those who immediately denounce Bay’s work, and those who can look past the name and still get excited about a childhood franchise coming back to the big screen.

The first trailer for TMNT dropped a few months back, and judging from the footage presented, it seems reasonable that there is such a torn audience at this point.  The second trailer seemed a bit more promising, but not anything super-special.  And after a series of character art, posters and casting announcements, it’s still fairly hard to get a read on just how the majority of fans are feeling with about a month until the movie releases.

Paramount has just released a brand new trailer for the film, along with four character posters depicting each of the Ninja Turtles as we will see them, CGI and all, on the big screen.  Check them out below:

Judging from the new material, the trailer seems like it will have a solid blend of humor and strong action (as well as some awesome banter between Turtles).  The motion-capture shown also seems put to very good use on the characters, and really gives off that Transformers sort of vibe.

Are you excited for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?  See it in theaters on August 8th.
