One of the most talked-about upcoming movies, Batman vs. Superman, has a lot of people on the edge of their seats. So far we’ve learned who the initial cast members will be, but other than that no exact synopsis or further details have been revealed. This is primarily due to the film’s release date change, setting it back almost an entire year to 2016.
We’ve since learned that the switch was most likely made in order for the studio to shoot this and the recently-announced Justice League film back-to-back. And although select scenes have already begun filming in Michigan for Batman vs. Superman, odds are the next year will be filled with small hints here and there, with the release still two years away.
One of those hints was teased this morning, when director Zack Snyder tweeted a photo of what we can safely assume is the Batmobile model that will appear in Bats vs. Supes. However, the vehicle is covered by a large tarp, and along with it was a caption that teased the full design could be revealed tomorrow. See the tweet below:
What are your thoughts on this little teaser shot? At first glance it seems like the new Batmobile will be a drawing influence from the previous Batman films; with a slimmer body seemingly similar to the 90’s quadrilogy, with the modern tech and detailing seen in the Nolan trilogy (the latter makes a bit of sense, with Nolan set as executive producer).
I can’t wait to see what the full model looks like, and hopefully it will be tomorrow. However, this could be a plain and simple teaser altogether, and maybe Snyder will start filming scenes with the vehicle tomorrow, rather than showing it off to the public.
What do you think will happen tomorrow as far as the “Batman vs. Superman-Mobile” goes?
Batman vs. Superman is set to hit theaters on May 6th, 2016, directed by Zack Snyder, and starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Ray Fisher.
