John Goodman & Ken Watanabe Cast in ‘Transformers 4’

Transformers: Age of Extinction is set to hit theaters next month, the first film in the live-action series since 2011’s Dark of the Moon.  Michael Bay will return as director, with Mark Wahlberg, Kelsey Grammer, Stanley Tucci, and others starring.  It could be considered a sequel and a reboot all at once, leaving behind the cast of the previous three films completely.

Along with the human cast, the film will see a mix of returning Transformers, as well as new faces.  Fan-favorites Optimus Prime and Bumblebee will star, along with several new Autobots and Decepticons, as well as the highly-anticipated Dinobots.

Now, two distinguished actors have been cast as voices of a pair of Autobots in the film.  John Goodman (Monsters University, The Big Lebowski) will lend his voice to Hound, and Ken Watanabe (Godzilla, Inception) will provide the voice of Drift.  Both character photos can be seen below:

What do you think about the casting of John Goodman and Ken Watanabe in Transformers: Age of Extinction?  See it in theaters on June 27th, directed by Michael Bay.
