Humans & Apes Interact in New ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ Stills

Summer 2014 looks loaded with big-budget blockbusters, whether it be Transformers 4, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Godzilla or The Amazing Spider-Man 2, it’s enough to make any fanboy giddy.  One of the flicks that has snuck up on us the most is Dawn of the Planet of the Apes;  sequel to the 2011’s acclaimed reboot Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

So far, the TV spot and posters have hit the spot, with one of those rare teaser trailers that effectively does its job; teasing fans without giving too much away, and wanting to see more ASAP.  Pair that with the fact that the film’s director Matt Reeves is already signed on to direct the series’ third film in 2016, and you have every reason to be hyped for this sequel.

Different outlets have been dropping more and more glimpses of the film, and USA Today released 10 new images from the movie this afternoon, and all of them further the excitement even more.  They provide our first view of the Apes interacting with the humans, and even more shots of the Apes wielding guns and riding horseback.  You can check them out below:
