With such a variety of superhero movies being released left and right, the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot seems to be the one with the least potential. Well, at least that’s how it looks as of now. It’s been an awkward road for the film so far, but things seem to be turning around.
The film, directed by Josh Trank (Chronicle), has been an on-again-off-again project which seems to have finally found its footing, and is set for a June 19th, 2015 release date.
Not many details about the movie just yet, and most people are itching for casting information.

Variety now reports that Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, and Jamie Bell will star as Marvel’s “first family”. Jordan, who has been attached to the film for a while now to play Johnny Storm/Human Torch.
While nothing has been officially announced yet, Mara reportedly closed a deal to play Sue Storm/Invisible Woman very recently, and Teller has an offer to play Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic. That leaves us to assume that they’ve signed Bell to play Ben Grimm/The Thing.
Again, while FOX has not officially confirmed these casting choices, the reports make a fair amount of sense as to who will play who.
Personally, I’m not overly excited about the Fantastic Four reboot, and have pretty low expectations. That being said, I have enjoyed the previous work from all four actors, so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
What do you think about these casting reports?
