First Set Photos From ‘Jurassic World’ Show Return to the Island

When it comes to revitalizing classic movie franchises, the upcoming Jurassic World is one most fans are looking forward to seeing come to life.  This will be the fourth installment in the Jurassic Park series, and the first since 2001’s Jurassic Park III.
Though both sequels proved less enjoyable than Steven Spielberg’s 1993 original.  However, so far we have a few good reasons to believe Jurassic World will be just the comeback this dino-based franchise needs.

So far, we know that the new film will be directed by Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Gaurenteed), and will star Chris Pratt (The Lego Movie, Guardians of the Galaxy), Bryce Dallas Howard, and Ty Simpkins (Iron Man 3).
We also know that the story will take place in real-time, 22 years after Jurassic Park.

Production for the movie is set to begin in April, and OnLocationvVacations (via JoBlo) has a couple of set photos from the early stages of filming on Hawaiian islands Oahu and Kauai.

The rest of the photos can be seen here.

What do you think about Jurassic World, and the turn to Isla Nublar?

Jurassic World is set to hit theaters June 12th, 2015.
