Jay Baruchel to Star in Adaptation of Stephen King’s ‘The Ten O’Clock People’

Jay Baruchel has been announced to star in the upcoming adaptation of Stephen King’s short story The Ten O’Clock People, THR reports.

Tom Holland (Child’s Play) wrote the script and will direct the film, based on King’s 1993 short, and production looks to start this June in Montreal.

The story of The Ten O’Clock People is about a smoker who returns to his habit, with a cessation drug still in his system.  The result is triggering a side effect which reveals a reality that make certain people appear as monsters.

Sounds interesting, sounds thrilling and sounds creepy.

Baruchel will also be the executive producer for the film, and in the meantime you can see him appear in RoboCop and How to Train Your Dragon 2 in 2014.

What do you think about another Stephen King story adapted to film?
