‘The Lego Movie’ Character Posters & TV Spot Revealed

We’re just a month away now from the release of The Lego Movie, and now the first TV spot, as well as two character posters, have hit the web. The character posters feature one for Superman and one for Batman, and the TV spot is 30 seconds of nothing but “awesome”.  Both can be seen below.

While the word “awesome” is used almost every second, it’s still not enough to make you sick of it. That’s probably because the movie looks so promising; and with a cast of Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Will Ferrell, and a plot involving Legos, what is there not to look forward to?

The Lego Movie
comes from directing team Phil Lord & Chris Miller (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, 21 Jump Street), and tells the story of Emmet (Chris Pratt), a normal minifig whose life changes upon meeting a group of distinctive characters who believe he is the prophet Master Builder. Along with some of these characters, Emmet sets out on a journey to end the reign of Master Business (Will Ferrell) from gluing the entire universe together.

It sounds like a whole lot of fun, and I can’t wait for it to hit theaters. What do you think?

So am I. And yes! I grew up playing the Lego SW games, and I still do. I’ve even been playing the new Lego Marvel Superheroes a ton lately. Legos have always been a favorite toy of mine.
